I was checking to see what’s out there but almost nothing to choose from 3 inventory checks showed about 1 per dealer but lots of Tundra on the lots. One SR5 was close to $40,000 but not much info to go along with that price and no photo.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Those '24 models with the turbo 4 cyls scare me...Much prefer the '23 and older naturally aspirated 6 cyls.

You do see under EVERY one of those it says "IN PRODUCTION" didn't you. That means they are ordered. Don't see any in the 20,000 dollar range either... Spike was yours used? If not you have a warrant out on you. You stole that truck..

I'm looking to replace my 08 Tundra after a tree fell on it during a big wind/rain event on 12-18 last year.
My first choice is another Tundra but I'm not buying one with a turbo 6 cyl. Second choice is a Ford with a 5.0.
None of the Chevy's I looked caught my eye. I'm going to look at a 2019 Siverado 1500 this afternoon but it's got that stupid 5.3 Eco-crap engine and the guy wants $30,000+.
I need a 4 x 4 double cab with a V-8 and an 8' bed (will go with 6.5 if I have to) that's capable of towing 10,000 lbs.
Been looking for a month now.
Eh...wot?

Unless it was a salvage title or you bought it from a dead relative you are not buying that truck anywhere for what you say

If not you have a warrant out on you. You stole that truck.. No it was new. I did make a 10k mistake, though. Forgot about the down payment. It was listed at 38 and we negotiated it down $30250 tax, title, license included in the price. Took about 2 hours but when got up to walk out they started dealing. Sorry about that. I got my first payment bill today and it said $20250.

You are one heck of a negotiator. Right now they might budge 2,000 but not 8,000. reason being is exactly what this thread is about. LOW INVENTORY. If you won't pay 1-2 thousand below sticker the next guy in will....
Hurry sell it to someone on here make yourself 5,000.

Shop at the end of the month those number crunchers deal better if they have a bigger incentive to reach like a close end of the month goal. They worry less about the price and more about the incentive they can earn that way.
