Paired around 300 for one of their pieces for my wife a decade ago it didn't last long and had been gone for years. But the same size old duch oven that was my great grandmothers them my grandmothers and now my wife's is still as Good as new after 100 years of use. They sure do look nice but the coating on ours didn't hold up so it's straight cast iron for us other than some stainless pots and a few glass cake pans and the spring form cheese cake pan thing.

Le Creusett they are expensive
bought the wife one several years ago I think around 300

I bought a used enameled Dutch oven this fall for 15 dollars 6 quart Jcpenny branded that looks identical to the lodge enameled

the question is are they so good compared to others , since you could by 5 lodge enamel Dutch ovens for the price of a Le Creusett , no 5 lodge would last you a life time easily heck 1-2 probably would

be carful to watch the size the 2 3/4 quart sells for 179.99 typically but is quite small I own one my wife bought on ebay thinking it was the larger size , she paid 80 shipped
it looks bigger in the pictures because it is an oval so width of a normal one but only across the handles

Wonder why it’s only oven safe to 400?

the JCpenny I have , the Lodge and the amazon basic all have identical looking castings the only place they have a name is on the top handle that bolts on
