The same as a #4 jump if that helps you at all. Off the top of my head I don't know but if you have a #4 jump you could measure that.

I have nothing clever to put here.

It's big. We can only use them under water due to the size and the teeth.
I wish I had a slew of them. They are quite a bit lighter to carry a bunch around than other beaver traps.

We can't use them anymore, not even in the water. Too bad. The only jump I really liked. I still have some. Relics of a bygone era...

I don't. I have a bunch with cut down pans and some with mouse trap springs.

Sell them as they are - stock traps. Worth $25.00 or so each. Then buy traps that are set up the way you like. If you modify the 14s, value will drop to $10.00 to $12.00. Each.

He doesn't have them to sell. If he did, he'd know the jaw spread. IF he already had them and put PIT pans on them, I'm not sure that would hurt the value as a user trap. It increases the value of #4 jumps ....

That said, the PIT pan plus the cost of the #14 = a new CDR, so it wouldn't be wise to buy the whole rig to use IMO.

Adding a miles trigger is the way to go if you want to add pan tension to a #14 IMO, it's free and easy.

I have an about 18 that I had paws I pans put on. It made them a great user trap for beaver. Before that they were 50% misses due to the floppy pans. That being said my go to foothold for beaver today is the MB750

I had several with cast jaws back in the day. Wolverine destroyed them all.
On the other hand.............wolverine have also destroyed every PIT pan I had on my bigger traps. They will survive wolves but not wolverines

WOW, I can see the PIT pan being torn apart but the #14 jump with cast jaws? WOW.
