Caught a few today one had 3.5 legs. One got chewed up by another one and one was sporting and arrow or bullet wound. There is 1 worth skinning. On the end of the nub is a goofy pad and 1 toe nail. Anyone every seen something like that?

I've caught 2 anyway below the dew and the stub calluses over like a pad.

Birth defect I would imagine

I watched 2 pups this summer jump a fawn right by my house I let the dogs out on them. They had a good tussle and the fawn ran off I'm not sure it lived or not I hope it did.

A guy doesn’t realize how many banged up, beat up, crippled coyotes are out there till he starts killing a lot of coyotes.


It’s amazing some of the stuff they deal with.

What’s also amazing is the crippled up stuff is almost always as fat and otherwise healthy appearing as can be.

I see maybe one a year. I think most around here come from holding to long in front of the swather and combine.
