Alright now. That'll certainly help chip through and make a bed. Way to stick to it. That one skunk sure was nice and what a load of essence. Good luck the next couple days

I enjoyed all the posts. I'm starting my annual Oklahoma line this weekend. Looks like rain all weekend when I'm starting so we will see how it goes. At least it is going to be warm all week. Usually we get a big rain and then get freeze/thaw conditions every day. Good luck to you. I spent the day power washing traps, hopefully will finish tomorrow. I have a new found respect for anyone that deals with red dirt.

Usually we get a big rain and then get freeze/thaw conditions every day. Good luck to you. I spent the day power washing traps, hopefully will finish tomorrow. I have a new found respect for anyone that deals with red dirt. I'm in far east central Oklahoma so I'm out of the red dirt. The 5,000 acre hunting club I trap on is probably 98% hilly oak and pine forests (two power lines and some natural gas lines are the only clearings). I'm going to take off early and set tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday, ahead of the Saturday and Sunday all day rain forecasted. My goal is usually to set 40 traps the first day, run those and set 30 more on day two, run those and set 20 more on day three. I keep them set for a week but this year they will be out a little extra time. I trap to get my hunting club dues waived. About one in five years does the plan work out due to some kind of weather problem. With the warm weather forecast I should catch plenty of possum and coon.
