Lol
I was in the cafe in a town of 200 the other day. Two ole boys were arguing about which one didn’t wave at the other when they met in the road.
I’ll take country people any day.

I'm game. We can have a Tman trial over whether I properly diagnose fake disabilities. I'm aware of four offenders on the site. Two others are now under suspicion.

I am also aware of actually disabled people on the site who are too hurt to work. A couple of them have reached out over the years about the fakers. Other able-bodied and hardworking taxpayers on the site have also reached out by PM about the fakers.

And yes, two shots were taken at me by two members before I posted anything. One implied and one express. I quoted them.

Whatever. Let's have the trial. It will be fun.

P.S. My neighbors love me!

P.P.S. I am a JD not a MD. Randall, quoted above, concocted that and I think it's funny. For a time, he also thought I hacked his bank account. Also funny.

P.P.P.S. I admittedly was ticked about people giving the poor people at Walmart a hard time. I respect those old and disabled people for trying. Different post but I read it at the same time. One of the fakers commented there too.

You're an idiot. You call me a "lifelong offender" when I worked 10.5 hr days for 21 yrs until I was 58. Then I had medical issues. Lifelong? You are an idiot.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

So you think the whole east coast is the same?

No but it sounded like you did (you said when you go east people arent thrilled to see you) that is why I had to correct you.

You didnt exclude it either.
Now you are going north and south, lol.
Regardless I dont think you can paint all easternmost people with the same brush,
maritimers are similar north or south of the border.Very friendly people.

Don’t know what your talking about I said different attitudes never said they were all bad traits just some are different but some not so much good people everywhere some not so good your reading way more into it then you should be. Some folks are very direct some are not it’s that simple.

As I remember , Newfoundlanders were called Newfies ,
Kind of like Pollocks in jokes in times of old.
How many Newfies to change a light bulb? type of thing.
I would just go with the flow, as I didn't know or think much about it.

Sorry I don't have dual citizenship degree like you or any degrees in Canadian civics and history like your American ones. Your saying things I never said so ya there's a problem. You're trying to make it into what it's not that is the issue.

It’s the city folks that seem to be a little different.

Now if you want to break it into wealthy and poor. I’ve seen both have attitudes and some weird differentiating opinions. I’ve seen truly filthy rich folks sit down for a home cooked meal and talk life with your average everyday worker. I’ve seen those that “think” they’re filthy rich try and belittle everyone. I can pick a billionaire from a millionaire from a wanna be in just a few minutes of conversation. The wannabes wanna tell you how rich they are, the filthy rich ask about your family and work and listen intently. Also their kids are more respectful. Sounds crazy and against everything you hear, but that’s just been my experiences.

Sorta the same about trapping on here. If you pay attention you can tell the true greats that know exactly what they’re doing and could back it up. They don’t brag, but offer free advice. Some on here I don’t think could catch a mouse if it was in a shoe box. Some post for attention, some post to offer their experiences. Some are liked, some aren’t. There’s several in here that would be around after the end of the Earth just on their knowledge of nature and survival. There’s others that think they would, but most likely they’d be the first gone, lol.

That’s always what’s interesting on social media, figuring out the fakes from the real.

Thats the West what about other regions of the Country wester folks are just happy to talk to new folks it seems like go east they are not thrilled to see you as much.

Well I did include the entire South. Not sure what you’re referring to when you say East, but country folks in the Carolina’s and Virginias are all the same. Ain’t much travelled North of there. Don’t really care to, but I’d imagine those country folks are as nice as the ones everywhere else.
Swamp, we still wave down here. Did have a guy turn around in one of the Western states and asked if everything was alright cause I “waved him down” lol. Had another that thought I was being rude. My first few spoken words had them both realizing I wasn’t from around there and that everyone here waves at everyone. It’s not really a wave just a finger or two lifted off the steering whee acknowledging the passing drivers. Just something we’ve always done.
We greet strangers we don’t know with a downward nod. Those we do know get an upwards nod. Don’t know why, just the way it is.
And just for clarification the South is from Texas to NC and up to Kentucky. Ain’t quite sure where Missouri falls though.

I’m just saying there’s places you look people in the eye and places you don’t even consider doing the same thing because it’s not done there. Here in SD things are different on each side of the Missouri River to a degree. East River people are on the average nice people but West River you stop there and you’re in the house drinking coffee and cookies before you leave.

Had a major storm come through back in late spring this year. Winds knocked down trees for about 25 mile stretch. We lost less than 10 trees at the farm. Neighbor from New Hampshire lost close to a 100. Stopped and offered to help cut them up and bring my splitter as I already had it at the farm. He looked at me and asked why would I do that if they are not on your land? He just couldn’t fathom someone was willing to go out of their way to help a neighbor. He even burns wood but buys it. Well the trees are still down. Will more than likely stop in and offer to help again but not expecting him to have a change of heart.

People are real friendly in the Bush. I can't even put gas in the Bravo without somebody stopping to see if I'm O.K. because my cowling is up and open. I have to explain the gas tank is under the cowling. Everybody has been rescued or needed rescue at one time or another and there ain't no public servants coming.

There's a distinct difference between those that live in the bush and the urban weekend warriors..................
