HI All,
I have a question about Logwood dye I need some help with. I mixed some up a few week ago and dyed a few dozen traps. I left the left over in my pot. Today when I was going to dye some more traps I noticed some mold floating on top of the mix. Can I just skim to mold off and continue to use this mix or do I need to dump it and start over? Thanks for any help.

C1

Mold is certainly not a novel smell in the woods, I never let it bother me, but is easy to skim off. Maybe boil it down to re-concentrate it will help.

A coyote or a beaver won't notice the mold.
