We have an otter in the pond saw him yesterday and couldn't get a shot. so I figured I would try to catch some bait and set few traps. suspending jerk bait was the ticket. Thinking I'll have fish for dinner. [Linked Image]

Ended up going back out 20 bass and 5 crappie I kept 1 crappie that took a hook to deep and wasn't going to make it. I made 3 fish on a stick sets and I of the smaller fish on the trigger of a 330 and submerged it on a pole close to where I think he's staying. smaller lake so if he sticks around he can't miss my sets. We will see what happens. Water temp I don't know and I caught them about 12-20 feet deep brush piles. [Linked Image]

Good looking crappie. I get Christmas done with and if the weather holds I'm going to get out and see about catching some.

He's working them over I know he is. Those bass are good eating the crappie are 3yrs old and growing! We put some hybrid half white half black ones in there 3 yrs ago they were 4 inches. Crazy how fast they're growing.
