lots of mink trapper Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1,436 saskatchewan/canada	Dd both are Michael Benz traps I’ve had the exact same traps both styles numerous times. Your trap there with the extra brackets was nailed to a dead limb and set down through the ice with birch on the trigger. The top trap was probably set with a piece of meat up a tree or on dry land as a killer trap. Michael Benz made a lot of traps many different styles. Some of them look nothing like the above versions.
