How can people view to know they want to join if it’s blocked to everyone but members?

Church and dating are separate issues all together. I just offered a solution to the lurkers issue. I’m sure word of mouth is still a viable way of getting information out. Pretty sure trapperman is a fairly well known site amongst trappers. What’s your solution to cutting down on lurkers? A realistic one that could actually work as fast as my suggested solution?

Just because people join dosent mena they'll actually talk or do anything. Not to mention you make a site where it's supposed to be only trappers then people will start getting stupid and posting stuff they wouldn't if anyone could see. See it all the time in "private " fb groups. And honestly what peoel don't get is , it's not hard to fake your way into a private group. Like seriously making a fake online persona to catfish your way into a groups is SUUUPER easy if your not completely brain dead. Lotta antis have done it. Heck I've done it too a few anti groups. It's not hard. Deal is most of them are more tech literate and could dox people on here pretty easy.

If you have time to make fake online personas then you need to get out in the woods more often. Shoot I hardly even have the time to comment on here let alone make fake personas to join anti groups. And your second line about posting nonsense well that’s where making rules and enforcing them comes into play.

First of all if you read these threads I bet the majority are members that haven’t signed in . I for one just this morning have been here 3 times on my phone before signing in . I don’t have a solution IF. Lurking is a problem. You must be a liberal because they will do things before thinking out every result. In the internet world I thought views were a good thing? Second the fact you like doing the Facebook thing might raise a few questions. Never had the desire to go to the devil playground

I honestly don't care that there are lurkers. It may be young'uns wanting to learn, but not wanting to register.

We even have Lurkers looking at the "We have a lot of Lurkers" thread.

Well now that i have this new information that changes things. It’s always been my impression from reading trapperman threads that lurkers were antis threatening to end trapping in the states.

Yeah no, lurkers is just an umbrella term for anyone who watches / reads but doesn't interact

Way to keep an eye out, and track numbers. I’m a suspicious type nowadays.

Some of them maybe be banned members. You can still look even if banned or on vacation.
