Does anyone have pics of chain that would have been found on traps in the first half of the 19th century? Specifically beaver sized traps.
I am looking to retrofit some modern traps with older looking chain for fur trade demonstrations for the public.

A long link chain is probably going to be the easiest if you’re trying to replicate one. The top chain below is on a trap from the 1850’s, the bottom one is from a bit later.
