k snow OP trapper K Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 6,415 east central WI	Does anyone have pics of chain that would have been found on traps in the first half of the 19th century? Specifically beaver sized traps. I am looking to retrofit some modern traps with older looking chain for fur trade demonstrations for the public. Thanks.

Deerhunter51 trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 746 Tennessee	A long link chain is probably going to be the easiest if you’re trying to replicate one. The top chain below is on a trap from the 1850’s, the bottom one is from a bit later.
