I got some angle iron and one piece which is a 1x1 (I think) 18 inches, it is very heavy and thick and my guess is that angle iron because of the surface area is very hard to get to budge from the side, basically I think It would be a good stake because of many reasons. I bet you could get away with a shorter stake by using angle iron, but either way what do you guys think of angle iron stakes?

With all that Surface a angle Iron stake has better holding power then Re bar.

They work great for coon. Drill a hole in the tops, and you can connect your traps with a quick link. You can pound them down and use them year to year. Make sure you don’t use them somewhere you drive though, they could punch a hole in a tire.
