We just dropped off 55lbs of dried castor to Osbourne, our NAFA agent, and he about crapped.

Any guesses on what it'll bring?

Not as much as it would have if you had sold in the country. Sorry NAFA, but that is the way I see it.

Because in our country they only wanna pay you 50 shells out and they wanna grade the crap out of it. And last year we got 65. A pound shells in and no shrinkage at NAFA

I dont care if you believe it or not.

Where can we sell it in the country for 75 straight? Shells in? No where near us..

Might get a hold of Murray's. He was looking for castor hard at the Ohio and WVTA state sell.

We will probably have another 20 lbs of dried once we get it all done.

Im sure wed hed be willing to let it go for 75 lbs straight if anyone would want it.

According to our agent the lure makers are scrambling trying to find and our local big buyer had a perfumed guy from Paris wanting 1000lbs of dried from him

Going by my average I’d guess $4093 if you end up with 860 ounces after it dries out a bit more.

Whats kind of average are yall getting in the country for your castor, shells in?

And buyers..what kind of averages are you paying all in or are you all throwing shells out? Cause the best we saw was 65.00 for no 1s.

And it all aint #1s

That'd be around 200-250 beavers worth here.My buyer pays 85 lb cdn strait run.
I would not sell castor at auction unless I had no other buyer.
