If it got down to it, who would be ready to pick up arms against there fellow countrymen? I'm not pro or con (on this thread) there would never be a good outcome. However, it's getting "dicey" out there.....At this point, who knows? Seems that some have decided and are acting on their beliefs. That will only last so long without major reprisals. I'm just asking, posting a question for discussion.

I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

I might. Depends what the reason is. The concept of civil war 2 is interesting, there are several videos on youtube and other info online about it. It wouldn't be like civil war 1, and it's not as obvious as you might think who would be on what side, how many sides there'd be, who would win, etc.

What is , if it comes to it? Are we talking about self defense in a mob situation or civil war part deaux. In the latter it would have to be where basically self defense again. Not going to get involved in an agressive action say if the left coasts secedes because they want abortion and carbon taxes or other silliness and we try to bring them back.

Trust me it's not the same. When you close you're eyes at night, you don't regret dispatching that yote.
But the other will haunt you.

Mindless killing for no defense purpose would not be needed just remember if the Nation stops "moving" the City folks just began starving as they consume everything and produce so little, (OK nothing really)! Not hard to do the math on what their next move would be after they kill each other for what they have. They have no storage skills on preserving food everything they touch has a expiration date on it and really so do they then.

Hope it never comes to that but I'm heading to the Hoot Colony where I can exchange security for some good German cooking!

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

It's not as easy as who has the most guns. The first civil war, without debating what it was about, was southern states against northern states. The next time it'd likely be over politics. This is much more unevenly spread out over the country. The left controls the coasts, and therefore they control what comes in and goes out of the country. The left controls the big cities, where all the manufacturing is. The whole west coast is protected by an ocean on one side, and a mountain range on the other. The right's big advantage is land area controlled, along with, arguably, more guns and better survival-type knowledge, though the gun advantage would quickly go away. The left wont have the most guns to start, but there will be plenty to pick off of dead conservatives after the first few battles. Other countries would likely get involved, which would just mess things up even more. In the first civil war, the south thought the north was a bunch of wimps. and the war would likely be over quickly, if there was a war at all, I here the same line of thinking today from the right about the left. It didn't work out for the south back then, in part because the north controlled the ports and the manufacturing. It's not as easy as "we have the guns and they're wimps, of course we'll win."

All us redneck country folk have more and better military training too, the Libtards have been content to let us do the fighting.

I guess it would depend upon what the NRA left for us to defend ourselves, now I would, but it is just a matter of time until I am one that the 2nd Amendement doesn't apply too. Remember you old men, these young men we send to war are capable of dying to defend the Constitution, but not able to understand it. Oh,by the way, it's that direction to apply for a permit.

You would be surprised at the number of wealthy influential people that fully expect thats where were headed, and they are well prepared for it. During the first Bundy standoff the citizens had more firepower than the police did, and a lot of them had combat experience.

do unto others as you would have them do unto you

You need a uniting cause to successfully carry out a guerilla war.Cant see that being the case in the US right now.No one group is united for or against anything.
For example an invading army from another country is a huge uniter of like minded guerilla fighters, women and men of all ages and political stripes.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Lighten up Francis. The Republicans are the reason you can still run your fully-semi-automatic mouth.

I guess that I would have to brush up on just war theory and determine if conditions warranted such an action.
