I was going through some old traps I have and found one #2 dbl long spring. Was told that it is a All Steel brand trap. Cannot read the pan so I cant say for sure. Is there any value. If there is more value with a legible pan. Is there any place I can get one?

All Steel pans were very lightly stamped. So it doesn't surprise me you can't read it.

You can tell it is an All Steel by the jaws.

In my opinion, any All Steel has collector value (unless it is a total, piece of junk). A readable pan makes it even more valueable.

the jaws are formed over like they would be laminated. The whole trap is in pretty good shape but the pan is pitted.

It's been my experience that number ones that do not read are worth about 5$.
One and a half about the same.
Zeros which don't read are in the 50-70$ range.
Twos threes and fours if complete ( correct springs and chain) and unreadable maybe upto 25-30$

You want them readable, worth way more.

I thought about selling it but it is kind of a different looking trap. This trap gathering sickness is hard to shake.
