Jonathan !!!

I have been waiting for your ping.

Lovely photos ....water- feathers- and space.

I hope your view is good to see the super blue moon in a few days.

Another beauty of an event to ponder in serene silence cuddled with the one dear and cherished, gazing into the night skies.

Thank you for the share.

See you on the surface cool

Thank you for the kind words and comments.

These two odd ball ducks popped up late his afternoon while feeding after the snow storm - a Goldenneye and a Redhead.

Another storm this morning. A Mute Swan joined the Canada Geese on the ice when the front came through.

Those are outstanding and awesome again. I really like the Redheads. Great work!

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Jonathan what are the Scaup eating? Looks like mussels of some sort? We have quite a few of those that winter on the Chincoteague Bay in front of our farm, but not many mollusks for their diet here. Great photos.

The picture of the two mallards the hens looks different than the ones around here.

Also great pictures by the way.

John, I'm quite certain they are feeding on Zebra Mussels, or some other species in the family group of freshwater clams.
