You guys wouldn't like an English soccer match very much. Was at a soccer riot in Manchester once, lots of excitement that afternoon. Were they throwing tea biscuits at each other and raising their voices?

People were warned over and over again about how it would be and the went anyway. I don't condone the behavior but would you go on vacation to Afghanistan with a Taliban guide? Some people are just hard headed I guess. Like Ron White says "you can't fix stupid".

I can't believe you folks believe everything you see on facebook, lol. Back in 1966 I was in the Army and stationed near Washington, DC. If you went to a baseball game in DC (Senators) in uniform you got a big discount off the price of a ticket. I went to one game, had beer tossed on me and was spit on. I went to quite a few games in Philadelphia in my lifetime and never once had that happen or did I ever see it happen. Wetdog, how much do you want to bet Philly doesn't get burned to ground?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

People is a game, no more no less. Now you know one of the reasons I stopped watch Football. Watching does nothing but take up your time. JMO

The crap they are talking about here in the media didn't come from Facebook. When ALL the local sports people that were there are talking about it, it had to have been excessive. They're at the stadiums for every away game. The local play by play guy has been talking about how bad it was too, he's been to every stadium in the league, and he noticed some things from his booth.

Paul Allen is also the biggest homer in league. Because .5% of the fans acted this way doesn't mean the entire fan base is that way

One of my friends has a daughter who lives in Philly. She confirms most of these stories you hear about their idiotic fans. She remembered a game where some Philly fans in an upper deck peed down on some visiting fans from another team. I also heard their stadium has a lock up for unruly fans. Bunch of stupid, low intelligent animals.
Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

I thought this thread was going to be about the band, the Eagles, that's how much I pay attention to sports...
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Some people are just hard headed I guess. Like Ron White says "you can't fix stupid". This is America where normal people should be civil and morally astute enough to where it would be safe anywhere you want to go. It's just a game, nothing more. If some idiots see it as more than that, they really do prove they are morons. Your comparison is ridiculous and then again, maybe not. It's sad to think we have people living in America like this.

Some of you Minnesota fans sure cry a lot taking issue about the Philly fans behavior. If you team had won on Sunday I doubt you would be criticizing the Philly fans. Sure, some of those fans are idiots, but it is a very small percentage, you guys act like it is every Eagle fan that acts like a jerk.
