fresh in the field 8-10 minutes by hand Shop 5-8 minutes
in the shop cold 8-12 minutes About that. Been better since I learned to pull the hide and put my knife down for the bulk of the time...

X2. I’ve tried to speed it up but I make mistakes when I go faster than that.

Takes me about 30-35 mins to skin a coyote. I’d say 12 mins of that is getting the front legs out. I get kinda lost on the shoulders and tend to cut a bunch of meat cause I can’t tell where the skin is. I’ve tempted the hammer trick by Beav, but I don’t think I’m doing it right. Still wish someone would post a video of using a hammer on the front shoulders.

I've never timed myself but it takes me way longer than it should. I always put it off as long as I can so they're nice and stiff by the time I get to them, lol

Takes me 10-15 minuets. I’m probably the only guy on here that likes them to sit for 12 hrs or so before I do it. I’m just more comfortable when there stiff. I know a skinner at the local furbuyer that does it all day every day. It takes him 2 minutes!! I can’t do a coon that fast

Ya I seen that video before, I only have one pair of pants so I try not to get them dirty. Putting my knee into the greasy hide would force me to wash them more than I can afford.
