PA_K-9_Trapper OP trapper Joined: Feb 2017 Posts: 375 Pennsylvania	I was cleaning my dad's old 330's, and I noticed on the dog on both of them they had engravings. One had the letters: MTI ,and the other read: Conibear 330 2 Pat Pend. Any ideas on what they are? I know they are at least 30-35 years old.

wissmiss trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 16,713 north Idaho	MTI - Montgomery Trap Company. Made for a few years in the 1980s Conibear 330 2 - newer model conibear with the humped corners. Made by Animal Trap Company in PA. Same folks that made Victor traps. Not sure when the model 2 conibear traps started but it think it was early 1980s. The Montgomerys might have slight collector value, depending on condition. The Victor Conibears are users. www.usedtraps.com Please check out my updated inventory of Native American books.

My dad used them to trap his first beaver when he was a kid, and I caught my first beaver in the Monty, and my second in the Victor, thanks again guys, Zack
