I believe it might be a early victor but the pan is unreadable. it has cast jaws and the tell tale square rivet under the pan on the frame.

Pioneer maybe?

Probably not a Pioneer. Much older than the 1970s.

The figure 8 chain dates the trap to the early 1900s. There were several trap companies in business then, including Oneida Community that made Victors with solid pans.

Other than that, I'm not much help.
