Happy New Year all. My HP pc went down so I was without a computer for awhile. Picked up a MacBook Pro last night and will have everything uploaded from one to the other tomorrow. Been out on the line messing around on the rocks, ice and overflow. Not much fur out there this year and mainly just out there loving life. My left eye must have been the eye for photography cause I haven't been taking many pics this season. Picking up some shed antlers and a little fur for the stretchers. Had a wolf hunter suppose to come out with me last week but never made it. Glad of it, didn't like taking a greenhorn out on the line with the deepest overflow I think I've ever traveled in out there. Got plum scary for a bit. Hopefully get everything transferred over to the MacBook and put some pics on to update the journal. Got some other trappers journals to get caught up on reading myself. Good luck and be safe.

I have really enjoyed your journal. You boys are some tough dudes up there. I went through the cancer deal in 07 [stem cell transplant]. The people at Mayo are amazing, they saved my life. I ate many meals across the street from St.Marys at the Honker. Good luck and keep your knife sharp.
