I have a Diamond Brand #21 long spring trap that has a Pat. # 1585,525 stamped on the pan, I tried to research this trap and could not locate anyone mentioning a Pat # on the pan. Did they all have this Pat # and fail to mention it?

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

All I have left in Diamond brand is a little #31 coil and
a #4LS. No patent numbers on pans.

The pat. I think is for the double jaws, what they called a "Frame Jaw". Some have "pat. pending" and some have the "patented May 18 1926". I think the pan with the pat. # is a later model.

It is not my trap, just a photo I have. The trap looks to have been waxed.
