As many of you know this is my first year doing ADC work. So my question is are there enough animal issues in late September and early October that dropping some $$ Into advertising at that time makes sense. I'm in southern michigan so guys from the northern areas are who I'm hoping to hear from

Thanks

I am in Chicagoland/Northwest IN. Probably a little south of you but maybe similar weather. Only my second year of business so my contacts referral base only slightly more developed than yours.

Animals are seasonal. I have to go to Chicago to trap squirrels all winter to stay busy but havent trapped an animal in IL since Feb because I am busy enough in IN. My raccoons dropped off a couple of weeks ago. Bats will pick up starting about now.

I really don't do anything besides internet advertising. I think thats your best bang for your buck. But yeah, its still worth it in the fall.

Thanks, red squirrels are what I'm thinking about emphasizing as they are packing away for winter and I have been getting caps for them but this particular advertising medium is coming out in Late September but it will reach all of my area and no further. And my demographic for homeownership and income levels

Michigan Trappin, Its a crap shoot, where I am, October all the summer folks head home, so any advertising money goes out the window. work then comes from town & state agency's. I'll start advertising again in springtime.

It's funny how different our advertising needs are. You really have to try it and keep good records.
