Is Duffus mole traps a brand name or is it the style. I read a article by Moley and he said there was a lot of junk out there and to watch who you get them from. I had a place where I could not set OS and they kept tripping Steve L. traps.

The best place to get Duffus [barrel] traps from in this country is the Flatpack trap company, they could not find decent mole traps to use, so being engineers they started to make there own , brilliant traps work strait from the box, they do send overseas,
I will be ordering some more soon myself,

hope this helps

The FPTC traps need a bit of tweeking to get the moles firing them well IMO. I have also used Talpex traps to good results too. These are alot smaller than your OOS traps and sit lower in the ground.

In the spots where I had trouble bedding the Steve A. Traps, I found NoMol traps worked well since they don't have a bottom. There isn't any bedding to do.
