Down to $2.36 in my area and they say it may reach $2.00 in a few months. Anyone else this lucky? Diesel prices are still high though.

Yup, 2.25-2.36 lately for regular, diesel as you mentioned Mike isn't quite that good but I'll take the 3.40 area we are hovering in over last years 3.99 to 4+.

Definitely doesn't hurt to have some savings there!

I hate you guys! $2.69.9 here and when I started driving, dear old dad had a gas pump at our home and another at his farm. He charged

me five gallons for a buck when I started driving and it went all the way up to 25 cents a gallon later. I could barely afford the

increase. Count your blessings! The cheapest gas in Hawaii (At least that we saw) was $3.79.9.

Diesel here is £1.29 a litre, times that by 5, that comes to £6.45 per gallon, convert that to dollars at 1.56 to the pound, we are paying $10.46 per gallon, and that is es cheap as it has been for a couple of years. Happy motoring!!!

Hello ADC guys! I haven't been around in a while.

It's hung around 2.80 the past couple weeks, but the "gubment" is trying to put on a 25 cent gas tax to fund all our potholes.

yeah, U.S. petrol prices are heavily subsidized; other countries' prices reflect the true cost of our addiction.

Okay Dave, you got me again! Who in the world subsidizes our gasoline?

Okie Farmer, you still have real gas? ( It's funny, because the car companies still use real gas to come up with their MPG figures;

which explains why I can never match them. )

Here's a question for you. Which country in the world has the most untapped oil resources that we know of?

Most love stores here still sell real gas as well as a few other places. My farm truck with a 6.0 in it hates ethanol blends.

We are tapping them now! Love these low gas prices....not so much for business consumption....but more customers have the cash to address wildlife issues.

Yeah, but your prices were nuts back in 1966. I think it's because you have so much oil.

P.S. While hunting in Alaska in '66 I had a couple of drinks with some oil exploration guys in King Salmon. They told me that we would

never ever run out of oil no matter how much the population of the earth exploded. They told me that besides finding oil deposits

almost everywhere, the natural gas deposits in the Gulf of Mexico were endless! We have been played for suckers by OPEC and everyone

else.

Wow - what a wonderful fantasy: unlimited resources! Amazing what stupid things drunks will say... (although most folks seem to act as if that is, in fact, the case)

Since "fracking" has taken hold they say we have doubled or even tripled our oil and natural gas reserves. That middle east black market oil has the prices heading the right direction. But the days of reasonable price gas are over. It won't ever get more than a few cents under 2 bucks I don't care if oil is 20 bucks a barrel.

I think we know the answer to that already. wink

But while we're on the subject, I have to give him credit for engineering this economic warfare on the Russians. All it really took was two countries, US and the Saudis to put a world of hurt on Putin while putting a big smile on the American peoples faces.

The sad part is most of Alaska is paying 3.40-4.10 a gallon still..and many of you are using gas made from my oil. We refine in Alaska but the oil pigs still screw us. In southeast Ak,,ie Juneau, Sitka, Ketchucan...are cheaper than me because they get there gas via barge fro the lower 48, again my oil refined in CA. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

You are all correct. We have the most oil, so far, in the world. Like everyone else, we export to the highest bidder.

Canada is a great guess, but as of right now, it's the country right below it. I'm sure we won't be the top dog for long as this is a

pretty large planet and there is still a whole lot of exploring to be done. I had been told some time ago that one of the largest

deposits of natural gas is right in the gulf of Mexico. I have to say that I never thought I'd ever see gasoline ( or whatever that

garbage is that I put in my tank ) sell for less than $2, but I was wrong!

My guess is Canada.

I'm thinking the Russian Taiga. (my bad, am I right?)

And this year you get an extra cent and a half per mile deduction. Go figure.

In MN we have E-85 which is %85 Ethanol. E-85 has usually sold for 45-60 cents less per gallon, Monday I saw it selling for 1 cent more than regular! $1.83 regular $1.84 for E-85 at two stations in Chisago and Lindstrom.

Saw on the news that while the cheaper gas is great for the consumer, and good for some Biz's like restaurants, retail shop's etc, a bunch of people are getting laid off in the oil patch's and related industries. Something to think about.

Always a downside to anything. If we ever gained world peace 1.3 million american soldiers would be out of a job. Hopefully those in the oil industry can find jobs with the upswing in travel and tourism.

The down side to low fuel prices is greatly outweighed by the benefits to the overall economy, every section but the producers benefits. Until now, I have never heard talk about the wonder of high fuel prices. Oil stocks would soar if fuel goes up to $10 a gallon, but everything else would be in the dumper. Governments gear up and set their spending levels based on fuel pricing so here in N.Y. when we finally get a little break, which is not nearly as much of the rest of the country because our taxes are a huge percentage of the total cost, law makers are talking about raising the taxes on gasoline yet again due to lost sales tax revenue from lower fuel prices, pure genius. The consumer can't win. When I hear $1.67 in some places and we still struggle to get under $2.50.... Wish it had been this low in the summer when I was driving hundreds of miles a week. Now we have savings, while the truck is parked.

We just broke the $2.00 mark the past few days in my area. Friday morning I paid $1.98 and on the way home that evening the same station was down to $1.94.
