Collectors, I recently picked up a few that I don't think are original and curious if you could help me out. Are all of these trapper mods or original traps? And, did Texas Gov stamp any regular #3 Vics? Thanks for the input.

Square pan, Oneida Community Jump Pan

#3 Victor with wavy jaws

#3 Victor stamped Property of the state of Texas on bottom but not a 3N

#3 Blake and Lamb with Teeth

Pic #1 looks like a pinched pan Triumph with Onieda Jump pan.
" #2 trapper modified jaws
" #3 Tx stamp okay
" #4 not sure about the teeth
All my opinion - Thanks for posting!

Picture # 5. The teeth on those look like the "Seminole" teeth you see on some of the B&L double under spring traps. I've never seen them on a B&L long spring trap, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Thanks For the replies, Nancy, that was my thought also. I haven't heard of them being done on a long spring but they look factory done.

Do you suppose some one swapped out the jaws from a double under trap? I'm trying to figure out if there are any of B&L double unders that have the same jaw spread as a #3 double long. I don't have enough traps that I can get at conveniently to figure it out.
