I recently pick up a trap that I was told was a lamb saver but there are no markings on it and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how it was set and if there is any value.

I believe you need the setter to set them. The oblong one is alot harder to find than the round one. I paid about $20.00 a piece for them but a few years ago sterling was selling them for around $10.00
