Here is a photo of a Nebraska trail trap that was made around 1927. P.S. It belongs to my wife!

Nice trap Greg. They are so hard to find. Do you have the setter for it? If not I will put a picture of the setter on. The trap was made for a short period of time around 1927 in Nebraska. There are two springs on the rivet pin of each scissor. One on the top and one on the bottom, for a total of eight springs on this trap. They are one stout trap to try and set. I have heard tell the story that during the scrap drives of the second World War that there were several large Horse Troughs of Nebraska Trail Traps that were scrapped for the war effort.

Bruce we don't have a setter. B.E.K. I bought this trap at a Western Nationals several years ago so I don't know if this was the one you saw. Greg

Here is the setter. Relatively a simply set up on it, but definitely needed. The Nebraska is a heavy one weighing 8 pounds.
