cascade OP trapper Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 362 Washington state	I showed this trap off sometime ago, but thought with the startup of the Trap Collector Forum I would show it again. This trap is a antique No. 4 center clutch Newhouse trap. The jaws have castings which hold the clutchs in place making it possible for the trapper to remove the clutchs by knocking them out. These traps were not very popular for the obvious reason that the fur would have holes in the hide. This trap is one nasty son of a gun that would put the hurts to someone walking on a spillway of a beaver dam. Greg
