What's your favorite use for bobcat meat. I'm starting to get quite a lot. Are you tainting, etc....and what are you using it for.....educate me....LOL.

I use it as an ingredient in fox, coyote and bobcat lures. When using it as a lure base or as chunk bait I prefer it tainted, not rotten but tainted gray color about half way through a 1" cube of meat that is still pink in the inner half of a cube. Then one can prreserve it, add anti-freeze if necessary and bait solution if desired. Ace

Hello hicksjo, feathers and squirrel tails should both work, anything that is native to your area that cats feed on. Wish we could use them here- our laws don't allow the use of any animal part or feather as attractants.

If you gain, you gain all. If you lose, you lose nothing. Wager then, without hesitation, that HE exists.

Gray on the outside, pink in the middle is about where my bobcat meat is when I add my bait solution to it for Bobcat Medley. Works good that way.

So....I should cut it into 1" cubes and then age? Or should I age in "hindquarters" and back straps and then grind?

Thanks for your help.

My wife just read this over my shoulder and swore I'd be getting skinned if I tried running that through our sausage grinder....LOL. Guess I'll be looking for a used hand cranker at the thrift stores.
