What are the advantages of dyeing and waxing traps. Is it possible and okay just to wax traps. Just a quick question. Thanks. Youth trapper

There are a lot of good trappers who just wax and don't dye. I do both because I enjoy it. Read through the archives and I'm sure you'll find plenty of good advice both why and why not to dye.

I have just waxed a few times. I dye because the traps are pretty that way. I don't think dyeing does anything really except make them nice looking, but your sticking them in diort anyway.
