Lets see if I understand this right -- the citizens of California VOTED to ban trapping, now that the little foo foo dogs are getting eaten they want to scream and cry that something needs to be done about them?? Instead of Kalifornia succeeding from the Union, I think the Union should succeed from Kalifornia (vote it out), that way what ever State Law they pass will not affect the rest of the country. They can be their own country, governing their selves.

Man, they won't even do anything about the cougars taking down people jogging and hiking out there, but a coyote eats one of their fuzz-ball dogs and they want something done. A little backwards if you ask me.
