Lately I have been opening the drain tiles to provoke the beaver into moving around. I have set a 750 on a rebar drowner 2 feet away from the opening of the pipe, then set the trap in 12 inches of water and the beaver have been showing up when they hear the water running. No lure or food.

Are the deer flies the same as yellow flies?

If there's a place that has more deer flies than Wisconsin in July, I've never been there...

LT is right. A heard that a lot of Wisconsin taxidermists were mounting deer flies so vacationers could take them home.
