Looks like you finally found out what Morels look like. I found that many a couple days ago, but they was real small. Not a lot being found in this area at this time. A few people are finding 25 to 35 amts in scattered areas. I was going this morning , but, it is rainin and cold. Temp is in the lower 40s and windy.

Last year found 1st ones on Easter sunday (14th or 15th April) That was once in a lifetime here in S.E. MN. Snow just melted off. Been plenty wet, 70s this weekend.Tapped some maple trees and made syrup this past month for something to do. Glad I did!! They'll be coming!!

Pretty. Good tasting ones too, not these big beer bottle yellows we get. grin
Cool to find but they hold about a hundred roly-polys inside each wrinkle!
