I went morel hunting this evening. I did not find any morels, but harvested ramps for the first time ever.

I have seen them many times, but never knew what they were. They are pretty abundant.

How do you guys cook them?

Does anyone have any recipes they would like to share?

Keith

I cant even find one! I think they grow everywhere but by me. There are a few pickeled ramp recipies online. Or with fried potatoes.

don't worry over the smart ones. catch the dumb ones, they pay the same.

i can do it because i dont know that i cant.

Put them in any dish you would put onions/garlic or just eat raw. I also put them in a dehydrator and then a food processor, then to a seasoning shaker and add it to food throughout the winter.
