I went today and picked well over 100 pounds and sent them to a market in chicago. Total of 18 found biggest nearly 30 smallest 8.5# winning isnt everything its the only thing

Cut the bottom of the mushroom off flat where the root is and if it has orange spots ot trails in the meat of the mushroom don't eat it. Worms get into them and make trails all over inside the mushroom. After they are up for a while they start to get the orange look. They should be white and brown/grey. I sell to a chinese lady and she checks every one for this and will not buy them if she any of that. Just passin through
