Video on Field Dressing trevs buck . I don't mind doing this for kids or cutting it up ether , this way here they clean up the mess after We work together on packaging the meat or grinding up burger . The video ran out just as I was about to reach up and cut the pipes above the heart and pull out the compleat gut pile all still connected to its self

Thanks Kirk where best friends again and dad is cool to hunt with . He jumped up for school the came home and cleaned off the skull cap around the horns ,then took a 2 hour nap with a big smile on his face . Only one way a kid can get that . He told and showed pic to his teachers

After his nap he decided back strap for diner so he cleaned some and we had it over rice . Then started saying to his brother I hope I don't run out of tags

We have lots of coyotes in sw va does not change the deer herd size most of the farms here use donkey in with the cattle for coyote

How big do the coyote out VA run . Have they learned to hunt as teams . Like a pack of coyote will send 1 coyote out and act weak to a dog to draw the dog into a ambush . The deer they just run them to death . The deer get this white foam coming out of there skin . I was always told are coyote are larger and are nicked named brush wolf . It takes like 4 years til there full grown and filled out . A 3 yearold is good size but not filled out . I get them up to 57 lbs was my biggest .

I think it's mostly the large number of doe tags sold . It was common to see 80 deer on the firearm opener in nov just a few years ago ,now you see 12 your doing good . Last year I only seen 6

Took a walk on some public today and found some nice deer sign and seen more sign there than on the privet land areas around . I haven't hunted deer on public other than a few deer drives for like 30 years . Not sure how much public land we have around here but it's massive and there also less doe tags handed out on public . Thinking of giving it a try .

Opening mourning on puplic Land . Few turkeys but my lic is only good on privet land . Been watching these Beaver in this pond next to me .no Deers yet but with that full moon I'm sure they moved all night . No hunters around

Beware of wildgame innovation junk . My kid bought a trail cam for deer and the thing just takes like 200 pictures a day of nothing . Doesnt mader where you hang it . Hardly works at night but come sun up watch out . Today we went to start using his brand new spin feeder he just bought made by wildgame innovations and the thing doesn't even work . The clock makes this clicking noise but it doesn't spin . Went to move it over a little bit and the leg just busted off . It only had like 25 lbs of corn in it . Wildgame innovations is junk .

Sad we had to leave the woods today . Never did see a deer but didn't even mader . Could have sat all day . Found this better spot for next time . Finally found some acorns on this hardwoods ridge and can't wait to sit it .
