Hello all,

Alot of you know me as a technologically retarded guy from Ohio. I'm trying to get with the times and reviewed some great stuff on here yesterday. I was so motivated I decided to sign up and join in the fun, education, discussion, and debate.

I am the owner of The Wildlife Control Company, Inc. and full time Wildlife Control Operator in Central Ohio, a life member of the NTA and OSTA, and former US Army officer. I was involved in the forming of NWCOA from the start and have served as past Regional Director for them. I also helped found the Ohio Wildlife Control Operators Association and served as President in the past and am again serving as the current President.

I must add, I am not currently a member of NWCOA as we are in disagreement over funds placed in trust with the Treasurer that they are unwilling to return to us unless certain (unreasonable) conditions are met.

Welcome Dirk! I'm a big believer in local associations taking care of there own issues. Good to have you on.

Thank God, Dirk. I think some of these guys probably figured I was making this stuff up. ( I mean stealing money from the state associations ) I do make a lot of other stuff up. As long as NWCOA believes that they have the right to keep money that was earned at the state level, mending fences will be nearly impossible.

Dirk is another one of the guys who has been around as long as NWCOA and I truly cannot understand why NWCOA would want to alienate him, but then there seems to be a long list of people that have become disgusted. ( I know that some people had an argument with the old regime too, but nothing like this! )

I hope you get your money back. Actually, I hope everybody does!

Dirk, come on, technology challenged??? You always struck me as a techno geek . I have no issues with state funds because with six members state wide it amounts to a $1.89. Despite what I've posted I'm not anti-NWCOA, I'm anti-no answers to what they intend to do with the money. And no MR.NWCOA President, vice-pres and secretary and and and I will not contact you directly. Answer it here if you are honest and sincere in your intensions. Just saying you want to build a bigger bank account is no answer. If any officers had been present at the NTA as in years past I would have stopped to have a face to face. I was there where were you guys?

Um, Dave, you said Mike Tucker was there. He's the treasurer!

UMM I wish he had said something. Actaully he did when a group of four of us touched on this issue, his silence on the subject was deafening. I've been out of the in crowd long enough I don't know who's who and don't care. THEY need to sell me on their value.
BUT, why didn't they have a table as in years past? OH that's right Dave's idea to stop trying to bring more hobby trappers into the WCO clan finally became their idea.

Welcome Dirk, I am sure you will be enlightened, entertained and you may even pick up a good tip or two from our group. We all will be looking forward to you sharing your thoughts and opinions.We have a very versatile,opinionated and experienced group here. If you are thin skinned this isnt the place for you.

By the way, Paul is not making up the issue of NWCOA keeping "state chapter" funds. If any would like, I can go into more depth on the appropriate thread.

The last I heard, NWCOA has around $6,000.00 of Illinois money that the will not give back. I don't think they have the money. Bet they spent it on their conventions. Glad to have you here Dirk.

I have had several requests for additional information regarding the status of state funds that NWCOA is not releasing.

I will respond on the appropriate thread. Keep in mind, these are my opinions based on the information I have available. If additional information comes forth, I am open to adjusting my position.
