Blake good to finally meet you. I like trapperpaw even though my name is Paul but their is nothing more memorable than your name. It's who you were when you were born, it's who you are, who you will be is still processing. I'm going to make a little sticky note and stick it on the wall so I can convert your monicker to who you are when you post. So if I ever get the pleasure of meeting you in person I'll know who you are. The line at the bottom of your post about integrity. Nothing has more or less integrity than your name.

Writing this I'm not trying to start an argument with anyone. I'm just trying to talk everyone into postin their name so everyone in our little world knows who we are. If you decide you don't want anyone knowing who you are so be it.

Thanks for the concern,Phil. Sadly,you are too late though,as I am nearly 60 years old,and have been tinkering with,and setting traps since I was eight or nine. I started trapping 'barn' rats with some old #1 and #1 1/2 long spring traps my Father had. One particular #1 Triumph trap was missing it's dog,so I fashioned a new one out of bailing wire. I still have that trap,and it still works,with the improvised dog. I only use "Charles" on 'Formal Occasions',and as I consider you folks,my friends,"Charlie" or "Chas" will suffice.

I have some of them triumph jump traps . It's not a bad trap . In good condition I think there worth 20 bucks . I rented a cabin over by munuscong bay ,that's eastern upper Michigan . I was getting ready for the muskrat opener . After I had promised the owner of the cabins there would be no skiining inside the cabin . I was looking in the display case ,he had collect some nice suff . The owner said I had a number 5 new house wolf trap but a guy last week just had to have , and I sold it for 75 bucks . I go well there's that same trap on eBay right now and last I looked it was up to 1.700 . Munuscong bay also has monster musky , walleye,perch . The musky are big but not in numbers .
