OH!! I am soooo excited for the season to start here. I really hope I can find an area to put some sets in for these creatures... so majestic

Learned to trap a bit in AK - Now trying to do the same in Michigan.

This weather is killing me. Gale force winds for nearly two weeks, with X-mas day the only real break. I should have gone. Maybe tomorrow.

Take a look at this picture of Anchorage. In the center , left of the picture about near the foot of the Mountain, there appears to be smoke. Or , is that just a cloud ?

I'm going over there after this is all over..... Sounds like fun! All this time I thought that was just waste heat from a power plant! Huh! You learn something everyday!

Your cold and I am snowed in. Wow it doesn't stop blowing and snowing. Crazy Homer. Rain or Snow and not much in between this year. My lynx line will be about 2 miles long in these conditions. Bravos don't do well in really deep flour snow.

We are sooooo glad we didn't go and put in the big line. Postponing might have been the best decision I've made in a while.

Cold, cold, cold here in Nome. I moved AWAY from Fairbanks for just this reason...and we're colder then them!! Really going through the wood pile with this cold snap.

I get a little bit of relief knowing the hoard of hunters going out tonight and tomorrow to go after Ox on the Jan.1. Hope they enjoy that miserable hunt!!

Yep, wish this cold would break. This November killed our trapping and now we are in the cold again. Maybe this will motivate me to put a windshield back on my machine.
