Alaska Viking- I normally stretch them on an split shrew stretcher (constructed out of two Popsicle sticks). But if i'm out I put them on a solid (2 popsicle stick) board. But then I end up having to add the tooth pick belly board. [/quote]LOL

January 14, 2012: Has been an interesting day, worked on insulating the fur shed all day. And should have it finished. The joys of fiberglass insulation on bare skin! Had to go and feed some cattle a few bales of hay, happened to come across a couple coyotes in the bush. They couldn't care that I was there. I had a .22 magnum in the tractor. So I shut it off, stepped out of the tractor. And plucked the first one, it dropped in it's tracks. The larger one made a pathetic run for a thicket 50 yards away. Didn't expect to get him. So I unloaded the gun, got back in. By the time I passed where he was, he ran on to the trail in front of me a short ways. And then stopped dead center in the trail and watched me. So just to humor myself I got out with the gun, stepped down off the tractor. Walked to the very front of it, and rested on the top of the grapple, and shot him as well. Believe I harvested two of THE dumbest coyotes in the bush today. But irregardless, they have a nice hide! Providing I finish the insulating tomorrow I should be able to go out and check my main trapline. Don't know how much more setting of traps will get done tomorrow with the possible lack of time. Will update tomorrow evening anyways.

i'd like to think so anyways. But it wasn't a long shot, and the target wasn't exactly a terrorist with a hostage in hand! LOL Doesn't matter. Nice work!
