i got a few chicken of the woods that were a lil tough , so i'm putting them in the crockpot with some lipton onion soup mix to see if that'll tender them up


if it works for gizzards and tough turtles...it oughta work for those chickens too.



if not,,,i'll pressure can them next time around.

it worked real good guys....about 1-2 days in the crockpot on slow simmer......and man it's good.

I found what I think was chickens today. I tried some at supper time and it is now 11:30 pm and I ain't sick or dead yet.
