I place a large marhsmellow on a hooked piece of wire in the back of the cage above and slightly back of the pan toped with a little grubstake. Then I lead a trail of marshmellows mini's into the cage. -Nick

LT, I guess I have a lot to learn about baits and lures. I read pretty much everything in this forum, before it ever makes it to the archives, and that's the first time I ever saw a "wire spoon" mentioned. Now that you explain it, I feel stupid for asking. Krusty

Thanks LT. and Krusty never feel stupid for asking a ? how would any of us learn if no ? were asked? I read about the spoon thing in wct and it streaches the bait. putting bait on the underside of the treadle was tip given me by Don Leofler ( hope it's spelled right). bob evans cwcp
