After giving up all hope as a bunch of my lures was mispalce this past trapping season, I found the fiver gallon bucket they was stored in! Bucket had a screw down top and was in one of my sheds. I have a bunch of lenons lures ( weasel all call, coyote all call, foxe all call, otter call) a bottle of leo hefts fisher #6( works really well on marten by the way), cavens gusto, some shellfish oil, a bottle of tinctured skunk essence etc.
My question is do you recon they are still good or do I need to get new stuff, planed on rebottling them and putting them in the freezer.

I agree with possum, they should be just fine, I have lure left over every year and use it the following year.

yes, direct sunlight can degrade lures and urines. yours were in a bucket in a shed. unless subjected to extreme heat for ridiculous lengths of time nine times out of ten any good well mfg. lure should hold up!

yep, some really do get better with age!!! \:\)

Heavy based lures like all four Lenon lures you mentioned will improve with age, the longer they age the better the ingredients merge together. All of my lures are aged at least 1 1/2 years before selling but I would prefer to let them age yet another year. As has been mentioned already, store in a cool dark place between seasons for the same reason fine wines are aged in cool dark cellars. Ace

I have used lures some years back (that I discovered in a shed) that was 25+ years old made by Walter Arnold. All three still worked like a champ. It was fisher, fox and bobcat scents.

I'd use any quality made old lure. I believe age only enhances it.
