Maybe you could modify the inside. Remove the drywall or paneling and replace it with plexiglass. Put a sign outside that says "Bat Observation Center" Sell tickets for $25 a pop. Just trying to think outside the box and turn lemons into lemonade...

That picture doesn't really help, but the principles would would be the same for it as any other bat job. Just maybe more work, and yes a warranty would be available for the right price.

I would not give a warranty for it! I offered one,,,,,,,,,, 10 YEAR........ \ Maybe you could modify the inside. I tried to convince "them" to do that on a Nation park job, but because the home was donated by the family of the original owner(or anyone for that matter) The (the NP's) had to maintain the building or it could be reclaimed by the downers.. If you can provide a few more detailed photos I could give more of a definate answer. What details would you like to see?,,,,,,Remember the "key" is modular construction..... If you know or have looked at later model "modular" homes in the past,,,,,you can see every detail from this photo,,,

I would start with taking off the gutters so I could see where they are gitting in on the top, than I would use bat netting or cones on the "active" openings and caulk wire or what ever is appropriate to the rest, this dont look that bad the structure looks like it is in good shape, I dont like doing the homes that need repair.

Brian, my kind of post. The best vacuum made is the Hoover Windtunnel. My wife has one and so do I. When ever my feminine side pops up, I put on an apron, tie a babushka around my head and vacuum clean. You can get a Hoover on-line for a little over a hundred bucks. Wives are a little more expensive! But then you already know that. Which wife lasted the longest?

LT GREY, I knew better than to bite that initial bait! It didn't have enough muskrat gland in it. Overall, an excellent teaching thread.

I love cedar shake siding on homes too. ( Just not on mine ) This means at any given moment something is chewing into the building or hatching under the shakes or pulling them off to get at the larvae. Yep, whoever invented cedar shakes was definitely an ADC guy!

The proper term for the materials installed is 18" #1 wood SHINGLES,,,,,,,The are not my first chose in building materials,,,,,, Wood shingle often need to be trimmed to insure proper installation,, You must determine the moisture content of the material and "gap" the wood accordingly.... The material must be examined for imperfections (bad saw cuts, staining, and cracking ect. ect) If you don't know how to install the material,,, I is time consuming,,,, I had "spece'd" the job using a different product,,,but the owner saw a home,,,,,liked the "Look" and asked to have this material installed,,,,, Chewing in,,,,,, Not on this one,,,,,,,,
