I will start, I use Death Klutch traps. I have heard mixed opinions on this trap, but it works good for me, but I would be glad to listen to more opinions. I would show you some pictures, but I dont bring the camera along, but maybe Lt. Grey and some of you other guys have some!:)

I use the gophinator traps made by Steve Albano. I also have a Rodenator that I use on the farms and for ground squirrels in the parks.

A 5 year ADVANCED SEARCH, on the ADC Forum, for gopher will bring up almost 400 posts with the word gopher in them. A lot of good pictures, techniques, and advice are contained in them.

I use the Gophinator traps made by Steve Albano. In fact I have a order in transit for more. Got my new gopher and mole traps in today! 2 days from California to Florida is pretty [Please excuse my language... I'm an idiot] good turn around.

Yeah Robb, what is it with the fantastic service lately? We have ordered supplies from several different companies in as many different businesses and it almost seems like the stuff is in the garage when you hang up the phone. Anybody else out there notice this?

Yeah I ordered 100 traps from Steve 3 weeks ago and got them in 3 days and he did not even have my check yet! Now that is good service.

Thanks guys, for all the crap the US Postal service gets, I have to say their First Class and Priority Mail service is hard to beat in terms of price and delivery time. They really do a good job with it.

Gophers are good bait, this is not from experience, although I used striped gophers last year for bait, I am going to try these for bait this year.

Here's some gopher damage pictures of a cemetery job I started yesterday. We'll be pulling traps this morning, and I'll have more "results" pictures to post later. This is up in the Oakland Hills, with a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay. The first pic shows the Oakland Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance to the right of photo. The maintenance staff reports many gravestones leaning or falling over due to being undermined by gophers The front office receives daily complaints about grave plates being covered with gopher mounds. This shot shows general gopher damage to the turf--there's 160 acres of this type of damage on this property. This is the biggest single gopher control job I've taken on.

Troy, believe it or not, they actually had a contract with another company to provide gopher control service. It got that bad while someone else was getting paid to control the problem. They were using phostoxin tablets, which just weren't getting the job done.
This looks like it may turn out to be a tough job, due to the huge size of the job, the high gopher population, but also due to the fact that they have very hard, rocky soil which really cuts down our efficiency when placing traps. Also the coons or coyotes are digging out almost all the catches, and dragging off some of the traps, so we have to spend extra time really staking all the traps down extra well.
But I bid it pretty high, so maybe we'll still make out on this in the long run. In the short run, it's going to be a major drag on our time.
We pulled about 150 gophers out today. Only a few thousand to go!

LT, gophers usually have much higher population densities than moles do. We would never catch 150 moles in a day, even on a really big job. I think it's a herbivore vs. carnivore thing. It's sort of like how there are 2 million wildebeests on the Serengeti plains, but only an occasional pride of lions here and there.
