Jeff,
I keep a pistol there too..... Duct tape the holster to the bar...It holds it fine.....

I have had the same duct tape on there for 2 yrs now....and before that for 2 yrs....

make sure he does it with the gun in the holster, so it isn't too tight.....

it doesn't take much either....

LOL..I will suggest the duct tape...
this time of year the moose dont give up the trail around here,so I carry my hog leg 44 mag, belted inside my coveralls centered about where my belt buckle is,and pointed down my leg.in the bad portages I just unzip my coveralls a bit and drive slow,.. ready for the stand off frown

I have tried it as it clung to bits of Sitka Spruce branches/needles. As it turns out, it tastes like, well Sitka Spruce needles!

Hopefully the roe attached to kelp tastes better than that!

Have you tried fresh (raw) whitefish eggs? pretty good in the late fall with just a little pepper on them.

Yes, roe on Kelp is good. Roe on spruce bows tastes like eating spruce bows.

They are all over here. Heck, just go to your bank and ask them to get some. I am sure they get new quarters from the Fed all the time.
