Last year i found an old muskrat hut with a small creek running by it, i just piled fresh mud up on the hut with the trap secured in the water with no bait and i got six coon from that set. simple yet effective. Trying to find the pics of set now

I have only used trail sets nd dirthole sets for coon on land a goo 50 yards from the water. I found this is where the bigger coon where that i trapped.

LT-tried some Cravens coon and mink bait this last year up north was trappin for mink mostly pocket set did not catch any mink but out of 7 sets 6 coon the first nite 5 the next couldnt keep the coons out lo

i have taken coon on points like the last to pics.but both of them spots look like great k9 spots.pic 1 i would look for sign to see what side the coons are traveling on.pic 2 is a good spot for a cubby if coons are walkin that area
