The resin we have is around $5.50 to $6.50 an ounce not cheap by any means. It is a bugger to cut and measure in the bulk form. Very sticky to work with.Resin does make the best and strongest product when the tincture is completed if it is done correctly. I hate to sell and cut it as I smell for days after handling it with my bare hands.I only tincture every couple of years due to this fact. I just make enough to meet my needs and our sales.

The resin is much more difficult to work with in a tincture solution then the powders due to its physical make up primarily meaning the gum content.

I have the resin, but I don't sell it.

Like Bob said, its a bugger to work with. I got a batch that I was able to break into hickory nut size chunks and put in my old blender. The stuff came out nice. The granules that it broke down to in the blender were about like corn meal in size, but sticky. It tinctured very nice.

It do stink good though - lol.

Alcohol will work. 100 proof vodka will work for this.

Yep comes from a root or stem. they cut the stem and or root and let it bleed , then they collect that when its hard. runs from yellow to brown. persian gum is the best but it comes from other countries as well.and its called alota different names as well, the gum from india is ground down and used to replace garlic and onions in there diet. said to treat stomach disorders and neuro problems. they call it "hing " in powder form and its cut with wheat, flour, and other items. but powder and paste are readily avaible at your health food store or india health food stores.
