Coulda been a few different places but Tetlin headquarters is the giveaway. Some guys on here from there. Many years ago I watched a guy get shot (not fatal) in the parking lot of the gas station. Was only 20 feet away, 2 local guys arguing over a pickup truck, then POP....POP. Crowd of tourists scattered, then returned in a big circle with camcorders around the shooter face down in handcuffs,still yelling at the victim. Was quite a show.

That's right on those temperatures by the way. That's nice weather. Clear skies, not a lot of traffic. Everyone inside waiting for fresh donuts and coffee, the stove cherry red. Great time to be alive.

As a matter of fact there are. I don't know how it compares with other states but it is a very common affliction in Alaska.

NY, Particularly the WNY region, has a very high Diabeties rate. In my opinion, 2 major causes of it are the food that people are eating and the lack of exercise. There are a lot of overweight people in the County.
